SUITABILITY:

Mostly I am chomping at the bit to give him another mh crisis by turning him into a cute cat. Even if we ignore the other Siffrin in the room he is NOT going to enjoy being in a completely different body for MANY reasons, yet at the same time this situation is distinctly not another timeloop so it's kind of... less bad??? Also suddenly being separated from his friends... Bad. but Siffrin(SA) is here, and making new friends, which are both good?? It is a complicated mess of feelings to be had. Siffrin i am begging you to go to therapy at some point.

Speaking of the other Siffrin!! I imagine this is redundant and y'all know the deal already, but just to briefly explain the ISAT spoilers for why there's two of them,

Siffrin (Start Again) is the "original" Siffrin who started the timeloop, had a severe mental breakdown after thousands of loops, and then made a wish for "someone to help him". To fulfill the conditions of that wish the timeline was reset with a "fresh" Siffrin (In Stars And Time), and Siffrin (Start Again) was transformed into a new body and started calling themselves Loop. Despite originating from the same person and both going through a traumatic timeloop, they're both pretty distinctly different in how they were shaped by it, mainly due to the fact that Siffrin (Start Again) was going through it alone during their loops (and then had to do it all again but with an identity crisis) while Siffrin (In Stars And Time) had the support of Loop (Siffrin (Start Again)) during his own loops.

in other words, that's his emotional support timeclone and they should not be separated.

⟡ Your character is on an exploration quest when they find an injured Pokemon in need of help. This Pokemon appears to be in distress and is quite dangerous, posing a risk to your character even if they mean well, and putting your quest mission at risk. What do they do? What are some possibilities of how they work with teammates to address this, or do they go at it alone?

Siffrin's first priority is always his friends and allies, but a stranger in need comes second. He doesn't think of himself as particularly heroic, but he's selfless to a fault and wouldn't hesitate to put himself in danger for the sake of another. So, of course, he is going to go out of his way to help the stranger in distress, preferring to do it all himself so his allies aren't at risk.

That isn't to say he'd reject help from them if offered, though. He would never ask for someone else to help him complete a task, especially if others have reservations about helping a dangerous stranger, but he wouldn't outright refuse the help either. And if the danger is great enough that his friends might get hurt anyway, he may reluctantly choose to abandon the stranger in favour of keeping those friends safe... but he would still blame himself for leaving that person behind.

⟡ Your character's worst enemy has recently appeared in game, and has joined the guild your character is part of. They both want to tackle the same quest, and your character's enemy suggests that they work together as a team to accomplish this goal. How does your character respond to this?

Attack on sight :)

His only enemy would the King, and he did at one point try to form a truce with him... which ended badly. Forcing him to watch one of his friends die in front of him badly. So yeah, nah, sorry if anyone is crazy enough to try and app the King, he's striking first this time zero hesitation. It takes a lot to make Siffrin truly hate a person, but backstabbing his whole party after he tried to open up and reach a middle ground from a place of genuine understanding? Fuck that guy.

⟡ The leader of your character's guild has just approached your character with an offer: they will provide your character with extra supplies, reputation points, and help them with any of their current struggles. In exchange, they ask for your character to do a favor for them that may harm the other guilds, and will not specify what the favor is in advance. It sounds shady, but it's the deal of a lifetime in your character's path to get back home, and refusing it may cause strife for your character within their current guild. What do they think of this offer? What do they ultimately decide to do?

It depends on how it's presented, really! Siffrin would have an easy time turning down an offer of supplies/reputation/etc, he's just a naturally selfless person who doesn't like to ask for much. If it's something he could use to help out his friends he might be tempted... but he'd clock the vague future-favor as suspicious and hesitate without getting the full details. He has his own morals and he wouldn't want to break them just to keep the peace. That said he's also a people pleaser, which might tempt him to go along with it for the sake of keeping good relations with his guild leader, but he also doesn't want to make the other guild leaders his enemies...??

Ultimately, if pressured into doing it, Siffrin would probably agree to the favour and just... figure something out later. Weasel out of it somehow, find a loophole to technically do whatever sketchy thing is being asked of him but in a way that doesn't fuck over everyone else, maybe he can just run away from the consequences and live in the woods.........

⟡ Due to shortages on supplies, the city is facing issues deciding where to cut corners during this rough time. Somehow, the responsibility has fallen on your character's shoulders, and they have to make a decision. If they send out an extra team of Pokemon, they will be able to gather more food, and through that, save the lives of dozens of starving Pokemon that were in dire need of nutrition. However, the only Pokemon available to scout for food are those working at the pokeclinic, and sending them out would mean certain death for at least two ill patients. What does your character decide to do? How do they feel about this choice, and how would they deal with the pushback that comes from either side?

siffrin vc why do i always have to be the tiebreaker

Siffrin immediately STRESSED having to make a difficult decision like this but if somehow he is the only one left who can make this choice ????? well, the go-to solution is still "can I do all of this myself somehow?" Siffrin would probably cut his own rations and push himself to do all the extra work before trying to make the medics leave their post... no matter what happens, he is going to blame himself for whatever goes wrong. If people wanna get mad at him that's fine he probably deserves it. But he will still try his best to do what he can for everyone, even if they also blame him for the consequences.

POKEMON:

Alolan Meowth. how i forgot to elaborate here UHHHHHHHH look. this fella is cat-coded. Also, the very important item that that always carry with them is a single plain coin. Cat... with coin!! That is grayscale!! The perfect creature.

GUILD OPT-OUT:

as funny as it would be i don't think the guy with severe memory issues should be a Scholar. Rangers would make the most sense for Siffrin (Siffrin is also there!!), but I'm open to tossing him into the Defenders too! He did grind to max level in a timeloop, he's pretty terrifying in combat despite his appearance.
